Walk of fame: Your children will be proud as they walk around the backyard and see their handprints in steps around the yard. Make a wood frame, it can be any size you wish. If space is an issue you can make them 12"x12". Let the child help mix the cement. Point out how you can pour it out of the container. Remind them after it dries what it was like and now it is hard. Place their hands in the wet cement and write their name, date. Let them add a touch of their own or embed a toy. You can add an new step each year for each child.
