Project: Growth Chart. One of the easiest and most enjoyable things to do is monitor your child's growth. You can do this by marks on the wall or door frame. You can also make your own with a piece of felt or two and some hot glue or iron on fabric glue. I like growth charts that start from the floor but since they don't stand until they are around 2' something you can make it shorter and hang it 2' off the floor. We have both at ToddleCharm.com. Cut the felt either 3' long or 5' long. I like it to be about 7" wide. If you purchased inexpensive felt you may want to double it up. You can sew around the edges or glue it together. Now go ahead and add the other decorative touches: buttons, ribbons, patches etc. fold over the top if you like and add a dowel or tack it to the wall. Tie the cord to the ends of the dowel and voila! You are done. Send us a picture and we will display it here on the site.
